Crystal Johnson is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been in practice for more than 9 years, serving various populations of adolescents and adults. She received her Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and her Bachelor’s in Religious Studies from Carson-Newman University. Crystal specializes in trauma, and is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and has basic training in Internal Family Systems (IFS). Crystal also has experience working with those seeking recovery from substance abuse. Her passion is to help adults heal from childhood trauma and aid adolescents in building resiliency so they can become successful, well-adjusted adults. When she is not serving as a therapist, Crystal likes to spend time with her husband, children and family. She considers her dog, Marty McFly, and cat, Louie, to be the “goodest boys” and hopes to one day own a small, hobby farm.
