Cailla has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lagrange College. She has worked with a variety of populations and demographics – predominantly women, teens, and children in both residential and outreach treatment. She has much experience providing therapy for both individuals and groups, specializing in substance use management, ADHD, trauma, and emotion regulation. Cailla approaches therapy by evaluating what her clients want to achieve and supporting them in meeting their goals. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and motivational interviewing, as well as interventions such as play therapy and art. She has completed EMDR training, level one Theraplay training, and has knowledge in Internal Family Systems (IFS). Cailla is passionate and caring for each one of her clients and believes it is important to treat the whole person; focusing on their mental, physical, spiritual, emotional, and social wellbeing. She meets her clients where they are in life while striving to understand their wants and needs.
